Question: Due to recent contentions among the students of the seminary on certain religious matters, we found it obligatory to submit our disagreements to the source of reference for guidance on our responsibilities towards these issues:

1. The intellectual and practical path of Ibn Arabi, the author of Fusus al-Hikam: how is it to believe in the mystical framework of the author of Fusus al-Hikam?

2. Philosophical issues and the research methodology of Falasifa, more precisely the theories of Mulla Sadra in Al-Asfār Al-Arbaʿa, especially the unity of existence and resurrection on the day of judgement?

Answer: One should stick to the method of the twelver jurists, which is to practice the authentic Sunnah and act according to the reliable traditions of the Holy Prophet and infallible Imams (PBUT). This is the only commendable practice to achieve purification, eternal bliss and perfection.
